Rejoicing comes in the Morning

Advent is a time of waiting and preparation and many of our CAP clients are waiting too. Some for their first visits to be able to begin their CAP journey. Some preparing the documentation they need for their second Fact Find visit, some waiting for their debt solution and preparing for the potentially difficult decisions that they will have to make. Some waiting for a Debt Relief Order (DRO) to come through or patiently paying into a CAP repayment plan to become debt free.

Advent may be a time of waiting, but it is also a time of looking forward and of Hope and encouragement for a better future ahead. And the message of God's love that our debt coaches and visit team bring to the homes of our clients brings them hope and encouragement in their waiting.

Psalm 30: 1 - 5 (NIV)

1 I will exalt you, Lord,

for you lifted me out of the depths

and did not let my enemies gloat over me.

2 Lord my God, I called to you for help,

and you healed me.

3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;

you spared me from going down to the pit.

4 Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;

praise his holy name.

5 For his anger lasts only a moment,

but his favour lasts a lifetime;

weeping may stay for the night,

but rejoicing comes in the morning.

God's love lift us up and gives us hope for the future, His strength helps those who are waiting to be patient and persevere. And this is something that is freely given to all, regardless and unconditionally.

Luke 2: 9 - 14 (NIV)

9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,

and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.”
